A few Thursdays ago Chris and I were getting ready to enjoy some champagne and I decided I wanted to take a video of him opening the bottle. My only hope in recording Chris opening the bottle was to get the sound of the cork popping, so I apologize in advance for the poor quality.
That is the only time we've had the cork pop on its own and we've opened quite a few bottles of champagne, I just lucked out and got this one on video.
Just a reminder to always keep the champagne bottle pointed away from you and anyone else when opening it. Always open your bottles cautiously and drink responsibly!

I've never had that happen, and I've opened lots of bottles at work, although now I'm sure it will. I'm always so scared of that!
