I love that I don't have to think about what I'm going to make for dinner and that I don't have to go to the grocery store to prepare these meals. I was a little worried about the freshness of the ingredients because they were being shipped, but everything has been fresh and appropriately packaged and chilled when it arrives. We've had a few boxes delivered to us and I have honestly enjoyed every meal, even the salmon and I am not a salmon fan.

Glue sticks, Pencils, Construction Paper..Oh My!
It's starting to feel like Fall around here, so you know what that means...back to school. I even had my seat warmers on in my car this morning. Parker started school last Wednesday and Ryder started today. I'm not going to lie, waking up to an alarm clock isn't my favorite thing. I am happy to be getting back into a routine, though.
Parker started First grade and is loving it so far! He has a few good friends in his class and their moms just happen to be my friends, so it's fun for me too. I appreciate the fact that he will still wear cute outfits that I pick out for him on the first day.
Ryder started his third year of Preschool today. He will have one more year after this before he starts Kindergarten. As someone put it today, he will have his Doctorate in Preschool when he is done. Ryder got to start bringing lunch to preschool with him and he was very excited about that. He also started an Arts and Movements preschool class at a local gymnastics facility in town. It will be a good place to get some energy out and switch things up a bit.
I asked Ryder if he wanted to wear something cute for his first day and he said "nah." He prefers his "comfy clothes" aka athletic gear.

PAR-DIY
Last week, I had the privilege of hosting a Brit + Co Co-Op party. This event was sponsored by Brit + Co and Scotch Brand. They sent me six kits that included everything we needed to make colorful paper garland.
Look at all this free stuff we got! Scissors, peacock duct tape, super glue, scotch tape, double-sided tape, tape measure, glue stick, utility knife, hole punch, paper, sewing kit, tacky glue, 3 washi tapes, gold paint pen, bakers twine and more. Lucky girls!
Can't forget the beverages, that kept us hydrated while we were crafting. I actually got the inspiration for my bar cart from Brit + Co, last Spring.

Gratitude Journal
Gratitude journal. Who wants to join me? Write down 5 things you are grateful for everyday. It can be as simple as having a hot shower, a nap, 15 minutes to yourself...
I started my Gratitude journal at the beginning of the year and I've actually been keeping up with it everyday. Here are a few things from mine:

- Listening to Parker read
- Barre Class
- Light, fluffy snow
- Ryder telling me "I love you all day," "I love you two times" and "I love you forever!"
- A garbage can that automatically opens, especially when my hands are full or dirty
- Dinner and game night with friends
- A nap
- Girls Night Out
- Movie night with my family
- Swim Lessons for Parker and Ryder
