I love having flowers around but I don't like spending a lot of money on them. Carnations are fairly inexpensive, they last for quite a while and you can get them in pretty much any color. Even though Charlotte on Sex and the City declared carnations as "filler flowers," I still like them.
I thought this combination would be fun for Valentine's Day.
