I made a cute Halloweenish Centerpiece a couple weeks ago and it was super easy and inexpensive. I used a few vases and filled them with candy corn, white beans and split peas and topped them with mini pumpkins. A little trick I used was turning a cup upside down in the vase and then I filled the vase, then you don't need quite as much filling.
